Hello loves,
My name is Shianne Joner. I am 26, a hairstylist, makeup artist, and creative, currently located in Charlotte, NC.
My passion for the industry began at a very young age and I could not be more grateful for the opportunities I have been able to have. Being born and raised in rural Montana, it was always a dream to travel, while doing what I love. Through the support of friends and family, a big solo move and a lot of hard work, I graduated from Paul Mitchell in Charleston, SC in 2019.
I didn’t know what life would look like for me in the industry but I knew I wanted it to be far from ordinary. And I certainly never wanted to limit myself. Shortly into my career I was introduced to the importance of clean beauty. One of my favorite small businesses, Cult and King said it best “pretty without poison.” As someone who has struggled with health issues linked to chemicals, on top of battling Lyme Disease from a young age, I knew it was vital me to not only practice a “clean” lifestyle, but also help my clients do the same.
Whether i’m behind the chair, doing makeup on set, or recommending products, my goal is to help educate everyone on the importance of clean products, and put them to use along the way.
I feel so alive and excited every time a client sits in my chair, or when I have an opportunity to show up on set. I love learning and growing, to perfect my art.. My mom raised me with these words “beauty isn’t just about external appearance, it must start internally before it can truly be portrayed externally.” I live by these words, and no matter if I have a few minutes or a few days with my clients its my desire to help them feel beautiful, comfortable and confident both internally and externally. My job isn’t to cover someone up, it’s to enhance their natural beauty, or help provide new confidence with a new cut or color. All the while doing it in a clean and safe manner, and in that I take great pride.

Why Sincerely Shianne?
Sin-cer-ly. adverb 1. In an sincere or genuine way
I knew I wanted a name for my career that embodied who I was as a stylist and MUA, and the person I continually seek to become.
Every client I work with I view as a chapter in my “career storybook.” Each client shares parts of their lives with me as I do their hair and or makeup, and its one of my favorite aspects of my career. In the end I will have this beautiful storybook of all the amazing souls, young and old, I had the pleasure to work with.
I want every conversation, appointment, consultation, and photoshoot to be genuine, and sincere, and that is what I promise to you as your stylist. We all know the stereotype of the salon/industry can be gossipy drama, and I hate that. I will do the best I can to change that. Let’s be known for being genuine, kind, and sincere. My chair is a space to relax, vent, cry, laugh, make memories, feel refreshed and confident. It is a space for ALL. Regardless of the situation, or whatever it is that you desire to share with me, I promise to always be….sincerely Shianne.
